Individual therapy is provided by Dr. Jenny Forman for high-school aged adolescents and adults.  Her areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, finding meaning and purpose, spiritual matters, and life transitions.  She uses a variety of modalities to fit the individual's personalty style and learning preference, including cognitive behavioral, humanistic, transpersonal, and psychodynamic strategies.

Together in therapy, persons may explore their inner strengths and discover how past conditioning and belief systems shape their identity, relationships, and behavior. By transforming self-defeating patterns and thoughts, individuals may learn effective ways of managing troubling emotions, discover a more authentic sense of identity, accomplish life goals, and awaken new possibilities within one's self and relationship with others.

By looking at our inner and outer worlds more closely, we are able to make better choices about how to respond to everyday life and to challenges that arise.  We are often able to transform stressful situations, limitations, or fear of the unknown into a deeper sense of knowing, authenticity, and vitality for life.
